Buster is a movie theater projectionist and janitor but wants to be a Detective. He's in love but poor. His girl friend's father gets robbed and Buster is framed for the crime. But in a dream he becomes Sherlock Jr and - well you'll have to see for yourself how this turns out. All ends well.
